For in the course of the last quarter of a century, pooch nails was an errand took care of by my canine's groomer. I generally needed to figure out how to cut puppy nails at home, yet there's that dread that the canine would squirm

Getting in Touch with the Studio

Ghost Fox is a small Portland toy studio, so messages are read by the people who sculpt, paint and pack the figures. That keeps things personal, but it also means replies can take a little longer during busy stretches such as a new collection release or the run-up to the holidays. A clear first message helps us answer properly the first time.

What to include in your message

  • Order questions: the name on the order, the figure or collection it concerns, and a short description of the issue. If something arrived damaged, a photo of the toy and the packaging is very useful.
  • Collection questions: the name of the series or the specific figure you are asking about. Limited runs are small by design, so we can't always promise a restock, but we're happy to tell you what we know.
  • Custom or collaboration ideas: a few sentences on what you have in mind, plus any reference sketches or mood images. Rough ideas are welcome.
  • Retail and events: where your shop or event is based and what kind of pieces interest you.

Before you write

Many common questions about delivery times, packaging and international parcels are covered on our shipping page. If you want to know how a figure is made, which materials we use or why some editions are so limited, our studio notes go into the process in more detail. Browsing the collections first can also help you name the exact piece you're asking about.

A note on care questions

We often hear from collectors wondering how to clean or display their figures. As a general rule, keep painted vinyl and resin out of strong direct sunlight, dust with a soft dry brush, and avoid solvents or household cleaners. If a piece needs more than a light dusting, write to us before trying a repair yourself and we'll suggest the gentlest approach for that particular figure.

Whatever your reason for getting in touch, thanks for supporting independent toy making. Every note from a collector, parent or fellow maker helps shape what comes out of the studio next.
